Heart Felt

You’ll need:

  • Our Valentine’s Day cut-out cookie decorating kit
  • Parchment paper
  • Piping bag and tips
  • Spatulas or frosting spreaders
  • Mixing bowls
  • Kitchen countertop space
  • Food dye to make your own frosting colors (optional)
  • Extra vanilla frosting (optional)
  • Extra cookie decorations like candy hearts, edible sprinkles—make it your own!

Directions:

Create a space to decorate your Cheryl’s Cookies and place parchment paper on your countertop. Next, set out all the decorating supplies where your family can easily reach them. Give each member of your family an equal number of cutout cookies to decorate.

To make your own frosting colors, use the mixing bowls to mix up vanilla frosting and food dye colors of your choice. Get creative and messy—it’s all in good fun! Use a piping bag or frosting spreader to frost each cut-out cookie, then add decorations on top for extra Valentine’s Day flair.

Share the love by delivering your hand-frosted Valentines to friends and neighbors so they can join the fun! Then eat and enjoy—there’s nothing like a Cheryl’s Cookie to celebrate life’s delicious moments this Valentine’s Day.

Share the love with music

While you decorate your Cheryl’s Cookies, mix it up this Valentine’s Day with your own custom music playlist or movie watchlist, and turn it into a game for the whole family!

Heart Felt

You’ll need:

  • Slips of paper
  • Pens or markers
  • 2 bowls
  • Prizes for the winners

Directions:

Have everyone in your family write down their top 3 favorite love songs and top 3 romantic comedies on 2 separate slips of paper (one for music, one for movies). Put the music slips in one bowl and the movie slips in another.

Next, draw all the music slips out and create a playlist with the songs listed. After you listen to each song, vote for your favorite one and keep tally of everyone’s vote on paper. Each member of your family can only vote for 1 song as their favorite.

Repeat the game with the movies listed. Note: in order to keep the game going, fast forward to your favorite scene from each movie that you wrote down. After you watch each movie scene, vote for your favorite one and keep tally of everyone’s vote.

At the end, add up all the points and award the person who wrote down the most popular song and movie of the night!
